This this the best lock to use with google home! I’ve tried other top brands , however this is the only one that the works flawlessly. We just bought a new house and I’ll be buying one more of there.

Love these. Great way to make sure the kids actually close and lock doors behind themselves. Love the auto lock feature and setup process specifically.

This lock works fantastic, I love that I can open our door with my phone and not have to look through my keys. Install is incredibly easy, exact same as a regular deadbolt. I love the Nest integration - if you have other Nest products and are looking for a smart lock, I highly recommend this to you.

Installation a bit easier than my pre-existing kwikset with the exception of two small annoying screws which tend to fall in the crevices of the battery hold where they can enlodge in the electronic guts. Once accomplished the pass code creation is very easy. Also it would have been nice if nest mentioned to update your apps before looking for device.

I've had this lock for a year now and, for some reason, it keeps saying its offline when the Nest Connect is right next to the door and shows its online. It also keeps saying cannot lock door or cannot unlock door when theres no problem doing it manually. Its become very frustrating. It started out great.

I bought this to replace an unreliable smart lock for the front door of my condo which I use as a short term rental. Installation of the hardware was straight forward. Trying to get the lock to connect to the “connect” module proved to be impossible. I read everything I could find online and found this to be a very common problem which doesn’t seem to have a solution even though it seems to have been an issue for at least the past three years. After spending about three hours trying all the solutions I could find online, I called Nest customer service. I spent about two hours on the phone with a Nest customer service tech trying to resolve the problem but had no luck. The rep escalated the problem to a higher level tech department. After waiting on the phone for another twenty minutes to talk to someone from that department, I was given a case number and told I would get a call back. Twenty four hours later, I still haven’t received a call. I just removed the lock and am returning it to Best Buy. Complete waste of about 6 hours of my life…

To install the lock is pretty straight forward pretty standard when it comes to installation after that is when it goes down hill. At first after I installed it and got it connected it worked well for a week. After that the lock went offline would not reconnect even with a restart or a restart to factory defaults. Uninstalled the lock and took it back. Obtained a replacement last night. Installed it. It did connect to the nest account and then again continued to say offline. With no easy resolution to the problems and the fact that having to do a factory restart means taking it off the door each time this product is just not reliable. Also, when trying to contact nest support I was on hold for over 1 hour and still did not get to a person.

Easy to install, easy to use. A little slow in the Nest app from time to time, but otherwise great.

We have 2. And older one that is going strong even 5 years later. Never had an issue with that one. Connects flawlessly and works perfect. The other one had issues connecting to the network from day one. I should have returned it but I was desperate for a lock. It would connect to the network for the first 48hrs and then never again. Lock would work fine with no app functionality until it would make all passcodes stop working except for the master. Would force me to reset and the cycle would continue. Nest support was terrible. Maybe buy the regular Yale lock and not the one partnered with Google?

I have only had the lock for a couple days, but it works great so far. Set up is "easy" if you already have some knowledge of doors and locks.
