Absolutely love Nest x Yale locks! We have three of them and could not be happier! Integrates well with the Nest Secure and Google Home ecosystem. Great added ability to power with a 9volt battery from the outside of the door incase the batteries die. Keep making this product!

Lock is a good idea. Installation is a hassle. It has to be perfectly aligned to operate. Any insulation etc on the door can result in slight misalignmnet and the lock will get stuck. I replaced part of insulation with a outside insulation tape. Nkw it misaligns on the other direction. Tricky.

It was very easy to install the lock. I love that I can go for a walk without worrying about bringing along my keys and I never have to worry about locking myself out. It's handy that I can check to make sure my door is locked when I'm away. I also like that I can set temporary codes to allow my neighbor to check up on my house while I'm away.

Love that you can unlock and lock directly from the app and set up individual passcodes for guests. Easy to install.

Was looking for a lock that I could remotely operate as well as some cameras, so went with the NEST products. The lock works well - it was a bit of challenge to install as the tolerances of the deadbolt with the provided doorframe component didn't line up, and I had to use the existing doorframe piece as well as drill the opening out more - if the deadbolt doesn't have a completely friction free operation it won't work. But once I got the install worked out, it's doing what I need it to do - passcode operation for my kid getting home from school, and I can verify that the door is locked.

I've been converting my house over to a smart home for roughly the last 5 years. I finally jumped on this after being locked out of my house by my dog lol Install of the actual product was fairly simple. However, getting it to connect to the wifi and the included nest connect not so much. Took me a few days to finally getting it fully operational. I had some issues between my router and the nest connect. Eventually resolved with some placement adjustments. Since then its been great.

Easier to let family and friends in rather than having to cut multiple keys. Also, allows us to track whose codes were used and when. It is easy to install, easy to set, and easy to use! And it can still be used for a certain period of time even if the power goes out! Eases my anxiety to know that I can check (and lock) the door after I have left home. Or, I can unlock/lock the door remotely if I have a guest over and I’m not at home.

We came from using the August door lock and we love how this integrates with all our other Nest products. We have had no issues with it whatsoever. Batteries last about 1 month. It'll alert you if the door lock jams and is unable to lock, unlike our August which gave us false info stating it was locked when it was actually jammed. Highly recommended if youre In the Nest ecosystem. We bought ours for $250 so keep an eye out for specials.

Easy set up, connects to nest. The battery life seems good, easy to use through neat app. The one thing I am having some issues with is the response when you press the numbers manually could be improved. Sometimes you press and the response delayed you press it again and the code is wrong. Also, I am having difficulty to add another user in the app. In our case we can only use one app other have to manually key in the code.

Awesome when I forget my key. All I have to do it type my passcode in and I unlock my door. Would recommend to a friend!

Best dead bolt I’ve ever had. Easy to install and easy to get on line. Had this at my old house. We just moved and within a week I took off the old dead bolt and installed this. It is a little expensive but worth the money if you don’t like carrying house keys

We have 3 of these locks for all our exterior doors now and love them. We bought this one when we replaced our front door and it matches the color of our new door knob lever from a different brand perfectly. I’d recommend it if you have any other Google Home devices, as it syncs great all in one app.

I purchased this lock so that if I went outside without my house keys I could get inside. The lock turned out to be exceptiona at this: it chimes when it successfully opens or locks, If I did not close the door sufficiently to lock it makes me aware, The Nest componrnt was an added bonus: I can check the status of the door, open it from my driveway. Together with my Nest /thermostat I can mobitor both using the same app.

This door lock is pretty nice. Like the fact that the geofencing will know when we are home. It will loose connectivity from time to time and that seems to be an ongoing issue as we have had a few of these in different homes. I would have hoped they would have fixed the issue.

Simple to install and use. For sure worth it. Makes life easier.
