Nice and easy lock to setup. I have one of two of these and I love them. Only issue is the Google App. Its not consistent how some products are in the Google Nest and others in the Google Home. Its a bad experience from that perspective, but love the product.

The Nest/Yale electric door lock is easy to install. It fit without the use of any tools directly in the existing previous key bolt lock. It was easy to link with the Nest WiFi transmitter as well as to set up my code. So far I have used it at least 3 to 4 times a day and have found it works smoothly without any issues. I have already suggested it to one of my neighbors.

The Nest x Yale lock is actually easy to setup. It is important to follow the directions and not attempt to install without them. It is also important to understand "how a door works." If you live in a climate where the seasons change and temperatures fluctuate, then you may need to make adjustments every now and then. Very happy with this purchase. This is the third one we purchased for our short term rental. Once installed, setting up codes for guests is so easy. Thinking of buying one for our own home.

I have put this device on two homes now, love the form factor, love the ease of install. It does require access to the internet to set up, but it will work just fine without once you have it set up. If you want access from your smart phone obviously you will need to keep this device connected to your wifi.

I did a ton of research on smart locks. This smart lock stood out above the rest. I use the Google assistant and Nest thermostat in my home and this lock is perfect for my home. I've had it for a couple of weeks now. It responds very quickly to commands and has not let me known yet. I'm able to store multiple access codes, so I know when each family member has arrived home.

Although all Yale smart locks are easy and similar to install, the software Nest x makes the difference from the user experience. It is very easy to setup as it is plug and play. I exchanged the Yale lock with August connect to Yale lock with Nest x connect after having software setup issue with the first one. I’m happy with the result.
