We have had an electronic lock from 2009. Wow have they been greatly improved. Compared to the older lock, this one can be controlled from an app, operates quietly, and never gets “hung up” either. I get a notification when an assigned passcode is used, which shows me who is coming into our house. Very nice smart item to add to our system.

It fits my needs perfectly. I have a code for my family and another code for the dog walker to use when I am out of town. You can also limit the access time for guests. The lock also has a do not disturb feature which is like an extra layer of security. I use it at night time to avoid anyone from coming in. I’ll definitely be purchasing an additional one.

I originally bought the one that was more apple homekit friendly (Assure lock SL). This lock is basically identical minus the fact that it hooks into the nest eco system, and has way more features! Even if it's just software differences, the ability to have codes auto expire, and see the history of when they're used - very handy!

great idea but overpriced

Geek Squad was unable to install. Once holes are in, it is pretty simple install and set up. Works great but expected a more responsive screen and better app features given the price point.
