You can set up different codes for friends and family and set the days/times in which they are allowed access. It's nice to be able to unlock the door from your phone after a grocery run or if you have your hands full. It is google home compatible and you can lock the doors from the hub, but you cannot unlock which is a good safety feature.

We have had an electronic lock from 2009. Wow have they been greatly improved. Compared to the older lock, this one can be controlled from an app, operates quietly, and never gets “hung up” either. I get a notification when an assigned passcode is used, which shows me who is coming into our house. Very nice smart item to add to our system.

Too expensive for a limit on features. Nice product but opting to return it and already installed the Yale Assure Lock SL, Wi-Fi Smart Lock , which has bluetooth and auto-unlock feature. I thought the Nest integration would have more flexibilty but mostly have to use the key pad or open app to open/close the lock.

The Nest × Yale Lock uses Bluetooth, but only when you’re installing and setting it up. It doesn’t use Bluetooth for day-to-day functions. For security reasons, you won’t be able to unlock your door or change any settings over Bluetooth.

It fits my needs perfectly. I have a code for my family and another code for the dog walker to use when I am out of town. You can also limit the access time for guests. The lock also has a do not disturb feature which is like an extra layer of security. I use it at night time to avoid anyone from coming in. I’ll definitely be purchasing an additional one.

We've been using for approximately 6 months and it has performed well consistently. The battery usage is good. I love the remote lock capability on my phone when it's late at night and I don't want to walk downstairs to make sure front door is locked.
