Hardlining in severely dimishes wifi efficacy. In order for the device to fully function, I was advised by tech support to spoof the MAC address after my ISP wouldn't divulge sensitive WAN settings. Weirdest Netgear experience yet. Probably will stick with Linksys going forward. I prefer to restrict this kind of technical quest to my gaming.
