Needed to run a Ethernet cable across the house to a few machines, and this did the trick

    Exactly what I needed!

My router has 3 ethernet ports. 1 goes directly to my PC, 1 to my cable box, and the third was shared across my PS3, PS4, and Steam Link. It was a real pain to have to swap the cable out each time I wanted to use one. When I recently bought a personal cloud device, which requires a constant connection, I needed a quick solution. This works perfectly! It doesn't degrade the signal at all, and my max 50mbps isn't touched. Another good thing is that this doesn't get hot after constant use. It doesn't even get warm! There's only one negative, but it has nothing to do with the performance. The advertising itself is a bit deceiving if you're not familiar with ethernet switches (which I wasn't until I got this home). The specs say it has 5 ports, but one of them is immediately taken up when connecting it to your router. Since it doesn't have a separate dedicated input, it only leaves you with 4 ports. That was the exact number I needed, so it wasn't a problem for me, but make sure you get a larger one if you need more than 4 outputs. All in all, if you need up to 4 additional devices connected to an ethernet cable, I highly recommend this.

This device works just as it should. Keep in mind this is an unmanaged device so if the product you're plugging into it needs its own ISP address this will not work if you have multiple devices.

This works perfectly for hooking up my TV, Xbox and PS4 via Ethernet. This ticks behind my tv greatly. I could’ve bought something a tad cheaper on Amazon but, I went with Netgear for the quality! This is a great little unit.

Excellent little hub. I have a home office where I had to run a hard line for VPN reasons and have 3 NAS drives and my PC connected to it with no problems.

Love this small footprint for this device. I have other brands that are more plastic (work great) but I wanted something a little more sturdy to go inside a wall box in laundry room. So far so good with plug and play ability....

After dumping Dish and Centurylink, we moved to COX for high speed internet and TV, however the COX modem only has 1 port (unless you rent the $9.99 a month version). We needed an expansion hub and this works perfectly with no issues.
