Perfect for wifi in whole house

May Be Defective
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this switch because a salesman told me it will work for me expanding my ports on the back of my modem. With some hesitation I bought it and it doesn’t work and when I went back and told them more salesman said it will work. Either I have a defective one or I’m right that a switch needs a router to designate IP addresses to the devices it’s working for. I didn’t give it 1 star because it may not be the switches fault, although it didn’t work behind the router either. But I also didn’t give it 5 stars because Netgear has only let me down with customer service but overall their products have always worked for me, that is unless the dog knocks the router on the ground but again it’s not Netgears fault I have a dumb dog. Best of luck with whatever decision you make.

affordable network switch

Excellent Switch

Network switch running 1 Gb
