It is a gigabit switch. It works just like every other one we have ever bought. Plug it in, connect Ethernet cables, it works. What's to say about a switch.

This device is great for expanding your network from 1 port to 5! When you need gig access, get this switch!

It's a great little switch for your LAN. My pet peeve is that the box says you can use it to connect five devices to your LAN, but in reality you can only connect four additional devices to your LAN because the fifth port must be used to connect the switch itself.

used this in my media room to multiply the number of wired internet connections to my devices. It works perfect with no buffering whatsoever.

Is what it is...a dumb gigabit network switch. Netgear generally last long, for years & years.

I have a Neatgear Orbi system which is great also but it has only 3 LAN ports. This gives me 5 extra and 7 useable total.

I have this mounted under my desk with 2 strips of velcro. It does exactly what you would want a switch to do, and the lights from it are easy to read.

I bought this to slit internet connections between my PC, X-Box and PlayStation. No issues, connection is great. Nice little device to own.

NETGEAR - 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch is a great addition especially if you always seem to run out of port like I do in my house.

I needed a new switch to fill the gap for the loss of a four port switch on my new Apple Extreme module. Netgear has always served me well without failing. This is working strong and has not had any hiccups as of yet.

It works. Nice build quality, wish it was a little bit heavier so it doesn't side everywhere, but it works.
