Easy to set up and a fair price. This is the second one, first one was causing issues. So far the replacement is doing what it’s supposed to.

This product has issues with individual ports... Each and very port does not work properly. I tried connecting 3 computers using this switch but unless they are specifically in a designated port it doesn't work. Kind of stupid...

Many manufacturers now call their 4 port switches 5 port-- one is your input. It works as well as any others and the price is right-- for a 4 port switch.

These things feel like they are hollow plastic boxes. They work though, and they are cheap. Those two things are both good.

So far so good. Does slow down internet a little bit but it's also splitting 1 connection into 4. So it makes sense.

We purchased this product as I have used Netgear wow since aprox 2009. My husband and I were very big gamers. as well as we would have up to 5 friends at a time hardwired as well as wifi in our home at a time. We never had any issues ever. I hooked this up and for over a week myself as well as our computer specialist tried everything to get this to work. Eventually we gave up and I called the customer service center for help as it says to. They were very rude as well as said they could help me fix the issue but it would not be for free like the paperwork says. She insisted it was some 3rd party fix and I would have to pay, But she would however give us a discount since we had just purchased the product. Ok wait. You know I just purchased this product and we registered it for our warranty and you will help us with the issue we are having, BUT its not covered under the warranty.. Im a bit confused. Its BRAND NEW, NEVER USED DUE TO WE CANT GET IT TO FIND THE ADDRESS FOR THIS COMPUTER, SO TECHNICALY WHY ISNT IT CUVERED???? Ultimately the product was DEFINETLY returned as soon as I hung up on her and we purchased another that was hooked up and instantly worked... SO NO I WOULD NEVER RECOMEND THIS PARTICULAR PRODUCT...

Its not a knock on the device, it does what its suppose to do. I was just hoping for better performance then what I got. Probably my exceptions were not realistic.

The internet to my computer and ps4 started cutting in and out really bad. I'd get good speed then terrible speeds, my ps4 kept giving me network errors. I didn't have an issues with network speed until I installed the Netgear Switch. To see if that was a problem, I disconnected the Netgear Switch and I bought a wireless adapter for my computer and now everything works fine. This product is Not recommended.

The only reason I got this thing was to get me out of a jam on an installation... it was the only thing they had in stock. This product is a far-cry from the Netgear Safe-Port products. I've had to replace this and the router from the same series on numerous projects. On top of that, Best Buy s CRAZY expensive on these things... but I also know if you want to sell TVs for 10% over cost, you have to make it up on peripherals like cables, network gear, etc
