Modem had enough port. Retuned to store. If need one will get it later.

This device is simple and basic. It splits your cable internet signal to reach additional devices. Sadly this didn't even last one year. Bought it last December. Made it to today. I won't buy this brand again or recommend it to anyone. Look for another brand that will last longer. Waste of money.

I used this product for three weeks and all of a sudden I started getting a red light on my AT&T router. My security products went through this product so it was very important to function. I replaced with another switch and the problem went away. May just be a lemon. I don't have the box but I wish Best Buy would exchange it .

Got this to try and get internet but was unable to get it connected to extend Wi-Fi range for a credit card machine

This did not work as I had hoped. Much slower and spent hours trying to reset and troubleshoot. Ended up returning.

Have used this device withoue a glitch. Almost an instant setup

Could not get it connected , the app didn’t work correctly never buying again.

If you think you can add extra Ethernet line off your single line cable modem you can't!!! They will tell at the store sure it works great no problem. You get home a single line modem gives you only 1 ip address you will need a router to add multiple devices. Then you think next week and you forget. every other store gives you 30 days best buy 14!

Disappointing WiFi extension. Arlo cams became almost non reliable with this device.

The range is not very far and it's very inconsistent . I would not recommend this product.

Don't buy Netgear this product is not good It overheats.

It's a ok splitter for the price , you do loose some speed

As far as I know, given comparable performance specs, an ethernet switch is a commodity--one brand works as well as another. I bought this model because it was the least expensive, and it has performed perfectly so far. I had recently relocated my office and was not getting the broadband speed I expected. After numerous frustrating tests with my cable company and others, we learned that my ethernet switch was the bottleneck. Replacing the old switch with the new was very simple, and my problems were solved.

This is one of the cheaper gigabit switches I've seen around. Me coming from a 10/100 Cisco switch to this GS605 V4 was a big improvement for me. I ran pre-gigabit switch and post-gigabit switch speed tests on Cablevision's boost plus internet (50/8) and I gained a few Mbps when I was on the gigabit switch (Gigabit to Gigabit) So far, I'm very pleased with this product and I recommend it to everyone out there for both the price and performance.

It serviced no purpose to me. So I went back to return it and I was denied bc of the new 15 day return policy. Best Buy you've really been disappointing me lately.
