Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.correct me if I'm wrong, the point of this item is so that you can use multiple devices under the same internet connections...yet after installing the device, properly, i wasn't able to use my Ps3 and laptop at the same time even...so the whole purpose of this item....failed!!! AND IT HAS 5-PORTS..

Not good for long distance from router

Bought another to use 50 feet from the router and it will not pick up the router, but my devices work fine at that distance. I have 2 device, but only one cable, so I tried the switch.
