    Had to get it a gigabit switch when my series x and ps5 kept disconnecting and lagging from my gigabit router. Best decision ever, ran a Ethernet to my gaming command center and have my TV, ps5, nintendo, series x, and gaming pc all hooked up. I can get up to 900mbps per second on the pc so I will say it’s true to the 1000 if you get the right cat cords. Feels heavy and sturdy too which I like.

    Good bandwidth throughput on a gigabyte speed network connection. Really has been plug and play for me, turns a single source into 7 additional device connections (the input source will occupy one of the 8 spots).
