Very fast data transfer. Easy setup. Just plug in your power and ethernet cable's and your good to go. Reasonably priced too.

It does what it says, you just plug and play. I have not had any issues and it is thin enough to fit where I wanted to put it.

Works as described using it for expanding devices that is connected to the network and router since the router only has so many connections on the the back or the side depending on your internet provider at least the green lights let’s you know what is connected to the internet and how fast the connection is my the amount of flashing light by the connection

This works perfectly and show the speed which is helpful to know if the cables are not marked or if are going bad.

I always use NetGear switches with my home networks. Recently I had to replace a four port switch with this one. Installation was plug-and-play in my case and I highly recommend for everyone to upgrade to this model for the benefit of having some extra ports. You may not think you need an extra port but in this day and age of Smart gear, you just never know.

Was on sale, simple setup, works well. What else is there to say. Buy it if you need it.

Excellent addition to expand your home network. Easy to setup just plug it into the electrical outlet and get a Patch Ethernet Cable, plug it into your router or Orbi, plug the other end of the ethernet cable into the Netgear 8-port switch and your on your way. Plug the other devices that were in your router or else where into one of the other 7 ports and you have a wired connection for all your devices.

Great option to add extra ports. Works as describe, now we have faster speeds since this product is compatible with 1G speeds.

Needed to connect my desktop, 3d printer and security system in a distant part of the house so instead of routing multiple cables. I ran one from the modem, plug it into this box and then all my devices into here and it works great. No complaints at all.

This model has been around for many years and had proven to be reliable. It's case is metal, which, in a commercial setting, is preferred. I recently replaced a plastic box switch that always felt too warm to the touch, with a durable metal box and got a power switch (instead of pulling the cord) if I needed to shut down, as a benefit. It runs cooler to the touch and has a substantially heavier, quality build.
