I bought this to help expand and organize my home network. It works perfectly, and is built to last. It doesn't need firmware updates, it doesn't take forever to boot, it just...works! That's a blessing these days. It would be nice if there was a way to turn off the LEDs. But it's designed for an office environment where that's not normally an issue, so I can't fault it for that.

Works smoothly, no disconnects. Very easy hook up. Very reasonable priced.

Over the past few years I have run cat 6 shielded cable to every room in my home. They all connect to a central set of 2 Netgear switches, which then connect to my ISP box. The quality and speed has been good.

Excellent quiet 10 100 1000 switch. When combined with new Eero 6 3 router mesh system and new cat 7 cables very noticeable increase in speed, quality of video and audio signals. You can see and hear not a speed test. Allows direct wire to router for 4K HDR TV, Blu-ray, Apple TV, direct tv and Marantz preamp/processor avoiding loss signal and data from wifi connections.

It's an unmanaged Gigabit switch. It's a low profile, built for work, no nonsense switch. If you need 8 ports with gigabit ability, get this one for simplicity, functionality, durability, and price. So far i've tested every port and multiple devices across the switch and i'm getting gig speeds every time without fault.

Does the job at a reasonable price. Worked right away. Easy to use. I bought two to connect multiple ethernet devices where there is only one wall connection. Allows me to have less wifi signal clutter by using the switches.

The Netgear 8 port switch is a true workhorse. Flawless operation and it's plug and play. Another great plus is that it was available in-store. I would recommend this to anyone needing an 8 port gig switch.

This is a great switch I have had running with no issues in my house for the last 16 months or so. Netgear makes good solid switches, paired with my Eero mesh wireless set up, I am very happy with its performance. I spent the extra money for the quality, and am not disappointed.

Fits nicely in my electronics cabinet with my modem/router. Was able to connect all my hardwired cables instead of having to pick three or four. Works great.

Purchased the high grade Orbi mesh extender with two satellites. There are insufficient ports on the Orbi for my needs, as I like to have my computers hard wired, even with a good router. So, I purchased this extender and ran a line to one, and in the process of the other. The switch works great. Not problems. Highly recommended. Thank you.
