The new unit was able to take advantage of increased internet speeds and the unit has nice look. The additional ports helped too. I highly recommend this unit.

I bought mesh routers and they only have one spot to plug in anything besides the modem. I plugged in 3 devices to this and have room left over for more.

I’m not a techie and don’t know much about it but we plugged in all the cables and it works fine.

Netgear switches are great

Because of that, I have only been buying Netgear the past 3-4 years.

I now have my whole house wired - instead of WiFi. I rarely use WiFi. I wanted all the computers wired. It was quite a project. But one big step was adding this switch to split the signal to more devices.
