Fantastic Gigabit Ethernet Hub

If I had been looking for routers I may have looked longer but this switch has been around and I have never had a malfunction. The one before this was also a Netgear and it has been doing unmanaged duty for 8 active ports for several years. It was not a gigabit but this is the first of multiple I will be getting to upgrade my lines across the house, especially after getting Gigablast. I will soon be looking for a switch that will allow POE switching capabilities to handle cameras and will no doubt look at NG first.

Great little router

I have my home wired for ethernet throughout, and this router is enough to feed 7 lines with the 8th being the main ethernet. Plug the main into any port and it feeds them all. I was able to transfer ps4 data to another by just connecting cables through the router. It is especially good for going directly into your smart tv’s or pc. And you can set it and forget it as it never needs to be rebooted.

Really has been plug and play for me, turns a single source into 7 additional device connections (the input source will occupy one of the 8 spots).
