Worked great as it should, offered me 3 extra ethernet ports and was at a great price.

The "NETGEAR - 8-Port 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch - Blue" is a tried and true classic switch. I have purchased many of these over the years for various applications in different buildings, and have never had any issues with any of them. A plug-and-play device, this switch only requires a power outlet and an ethernet patch that's connected to your local area network, and you're all set. You instantly now have seven new ports in that spot. I am a "NETGEAR guy" and will always recommend their products.

It's a plug and play ethernet switch with no additional setup required. Use Cat6 ethernet cable or faster to use the switch to its full speed potential.

It's an unmanaged switch. If you want VLans and such, you'll need to buy the managed one. So I have the Playstation, XBox, server, Google Chrome Cast / Stadia (RIP), TV, and Etc all connected to this thing running to a single jack. WiFi 6 is fast but the wired connection is more reliable. It's been running since I bought it. I have no lag in my games. All my streaming services play great. It was a great buy at Best Buy!

The Netgear 8-Port hub does exactly what it's designed to do with no frills and simple setup. My living room has several internet enabled devices and this hub allows me to connect them all without relying on wi-fi, allowing higher speeds and more stable connections. I have two consoles, a smart speaker, a smart tv, a security camera hub and a NAS storage drive all in use and have had no issues. I chose this 8-port hub over other brands and models because it offered a Limited Lifetime Warranty over the 1-Year Warranty included with the rest.

Plug and play, simple. Using it as a network splitter. Pretty straight forward. It’s nice and the price was good.

Item works as described no lag easy to set up and works great

Overall, the functions and ease of use of this switch is very good. I just wish they offered a lifetime warranty like some of the other brands like TP-Link considering the issues I have already had. I needed the LACP function which this offers and the TP-Link ones don't (only static LAG unless you get a higher priced model compared to this one), otherwise, I would have chosen the warranty.

New router had two less ethernet ports than old one. This switch gives me all the ports I need with gigabyte speed. I always buy Netgear switches for their reliability.
