We needed this since the main router didn't have enough ports. Ran the router into this and the rest of the network off of the Netgear and we were in business!

This switch has worked out quite well for me. I have several smart TVs along with a laptop and desktop computer. Everything has worked as expected with the addition of the switch.

I've picked up my wifi signal 12 mile down the road. I haven't tried it further than this yet, but just this fact is impressive. It was a strong signal also, not intermittent. I recomend this.

This is my 8th netgear device, going from a 10/100 to a gigabit switch in your network is like instant "Hyperspce" . File transfers between devices go from minutes to seconds, on all gigabit devices.

Just what I needed to use with my computer and additional accessories that needed to be hooked up!

I installed this to enable hard wiring network connections to rooms that get poor wifi and to decrease wifi traffic. This unit handles the work load perfectly.

Was having issues with my old switch providing communication between my modem and router. This switch made a world of difference and I am happy with the results.

Really simple setup to get to work. Basically take it out of the box. Plug into your router and power it up. I'm using five of my eight ports and it's running great.

Out of the box, it took about 2 minutes to be up and running. Most of that was spent taking the tie off the power cord and routing it to an outlet.

Great little switch for home use or a small office.

My existing 4-port NETGEAR switch was not my problem. Had to return the 8-port.

Hooked it up for the house cat6, should have gone with the larger port, but ill return and swap, or just get another smaller one. No issues at all.

It's a small gigabit switch. There isn't much else to say. Works well, good throughput, standard netgear dumb switch. If you want more "features" then you aren't looking for a dumb switch :)

Straight forward and reliable network hub. I used it to replace a larger one I had, but this one has the same amount of ports with a smaller footprint which is great.

Our challenge is getting an Ethernet signal to a number of locations and this switch performed that function perfectly. Netgear builds good stuff and this is no exception.
