I was running out of ports on my router and decided to add a switch. This was recommended to me by a Best Buy team member and it works great. No problems at all!

If you want to create small network in your house this device will help you do it. Low power consumption and leds are not too bright. It a win win

Netgear makes great stuff ... simple as that. This is a switch, so not much to control. Plug it in and it works. Simple as that. It works well, fast and easy.

Turned my old great but outdated Stereo and expensive speakers into a modern device that I'm now able to use bluetooth and listen to streaming music!

I love the BB has inventory of quality items right on their self. This was an emergency purchase of an older device failure that was needed within an hour.

Had it installed while internet was being installed through provider. Works great. Now we can hardwire blu-ray player, receiver, etc. Without bogging down Wi-Fi.

After I had someone come out, the router was re wired and I didn't need extra ports anymore. I took it back because I didn't need it.

Meets the needs of our business when we require more than 2 programs which require the use of dongles to be utilized at the same time.

Basic switch. Needed this to put Cat6 cables in each room. Does the job and maintains gigabit speeds.

It worked reliably, and showed fast forwarding with most of the ports connected. Netgear has been consistently good in all my purchases.

Wanted an Ethernet Switch that would handle my laptop computer, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, & Slingbox; which are all connected to my Flat Screen. This Switch works like a charm.

The unit connected to my network with no problems. It is well built and the cables connect in the back leaving the front clear with connection status LEDs. The unit is light weight so if not mounted to the wall it will tend to easily move/slide around.

As far as 8 port gigabit switches go this one seems to work great. It seems to handle a decent amount of simultaneous data streams and not get bogged down. For the money its quite good. Most switches that are in this price point have poor build quality....But not this one!!!

We have a business in a large building with concrete floors, we always lost Wi-Fi signals in the past. With our new upgrade and geek squad support...that's a thing of the past!

Would give this product 5 stars but no port is identified as uplink. Maybe it doesn't matter which port is the uplink but that is not documented in the instructions so I had to guess during install. Appears to be working right but better installation instructions would be nice.

I needed to get a simple unmanaged switch for a phone system for my work. I went into Best Buy and this was sitting there. It has worked pretty well for what we use it for. One nice thing is that it has ability to be wall mounted. You are seeing less and less of that nowadays.

Purchased this switch about a month ago, to expand my ethernet ports, and works perfectly. Highly recommend.

I got this item to expand my network, and it works great, did not slow or speed it up, but it added more lines
