Be sure to test all your cables and devices when using this if it is not working, however i had to return mine. It would not receive connections. I normally like Net gear.

Great, right out of the box! Use Linksys primarily for routers and switches, but have had NETGEAR products in the past and they all worked great, just harder to find in store than Linksys. Needed to replace an 8-Port switch at the far end of my network, grabbed this one. Plugged in the various devices in to it, plugged it in to power, and everything works great! Get super fast speeds; solid,consistent connections. Overall nice design, light weight, but feels "solid". Nice small footprint. The box packaging held it safe & secure until opened. Great job NETGEAR!

fair because I bought 2 at the same time. so far 1 has died and is now trash but BB don't care

Moved several of my devices to this switch and they couldn’t make an internet connection. Read several comments on blogs about this device and there were several complaints of the same thing. I returned it to B.B. and bought a linksys, which worked for me!

This switch was just in the right price range. My house was wired with cat5e cable for the telephone system, but we only use cell phones. Changed the RJ45 jacks on the lines in the junction box, plugged in the router and wow! I now have internet for all the rooms! Keeps my Wi-Fi traffic down and faster, and the hard wired devices are smooth. Good buy,

Once I got it to work it would intermittently need to be reset. In the last week this would happen several times a Day then the darn thing quit and will not reset. It lasted six months and ten days. What a waste of money. Wish I could give it no stars.

This switch died already. I’ve had it for 2 months. This is the second netgear switch Ive had that dies within a few months. No customer service.

Didn't last. It's not in a harsh environment just simply quit. Devices will have a connection for a minute then it drops. Best buy wont help I hope Netgear will.

I tried for 3 weeks and several hours on the phone with their customer service to get this to work and finally returned it to Best Buy. Ofcourse, by that time it was past the 15 day return window, so all I was given was store credit.

Add the switch to my router and no matter what I tried I couldn’t get it to make a connection with the internet. Saw a blog online that others had the same problem so I returned it to B.B. for a refund.

I seldom buy anything other than Netgear for mini switchs, small routers and modems. They have never disappointed me and this one was no different. Great little mini switch that will hold up to a lot of use for not a whole lot of money.

This is the 3rd Netgear hub I have had. All have failed within a few months of use. No more Netgear products for me.

Honestly this thing is sitting in a box because I had nothing but problems with It and quickly out grew it.

It Work for 2 months start giving problems 1 port at a time now only 2 ports working

Download speed 9mbps!!! Old Netgear switch 90mbps! Will return or try a replacement. Very dissatisfied!

Returned switch, wouldn't even come on! Netgear makes quality products, I think this was just a bad switch.
