I urchased this 8 port swith because I have just refinished the basement and have it all wired for gigabyte connections. Now xbox really moves out on the net.

I have a fairly complicated home network with multiple wired and wireless networks. I was able to install this to feed an entertainment center wired with Cat6 cable to a Gigabit router and it had no problem passing along IP addresses to a myriad of devices from different manufacturers.

I just connected it and it was working perfectly. I have my 3 network printers connected to it and now I can print from any of my 4 PC's and laptops, all one them different brands (Dell, E Machine, Toshiba,Lenovo)..

nice hub. as expected worked great out of the box. my only reason for the 4star "good" rating on "ease of installation" was that the hub's case did not provide means to wall mount it, which i needed to do. had to jury rig an acceptable way to get it up on the wall. my bad, really... should have checked for this feature, but i assumed they all provided wall mount slots on case bottom. you know what they say about "assume". ANYWAY, is a great hub for those needing/wanting ethernet cables over wireless.

Needed to split a single ethernet connection and this did the trick

Works great, although numbers in front are opposite of numbers in back, I guess that's true of all switches

WITH ALL OF MY ELECTRONIC DEVICES NEEDING TO HOOK TO THE INTERNET,I NEEDED MORE CONNECTIONS THAN MY ROUTER HAD, IN A COUPLE OF MINUTES AND YOU ARE UP AND RUNNING, ALSO HAVE A FEW PORTS LEFT OVER FOR FUTURE USE

If one requires a straight forward level 2 switch, for a good price, you found it.

I took this out of the box, plugged in my devices (including another switch) and it worked like a champ!

The switch is doing everything it needs to do, without causing me any problems, so it's all good

This device was easy to install and setup. Has been working without issue since purchase.

Great switch for the price, with simple plug and play operation. I replaced my failing Dell Switch with one of these and saw anywhere from a 20 - 30% increase in network performance. For simple use and home use you can not beat this switch. I do IT work for a living and the only thing I would have like to have seen was if it was a managed switch but for the price that would be hard to find.

easy to set up and it does everything they said it would. gotta love that!

Nice cheap gigabit switch, works great in our small office.

Netgear sadly is hit or miss on it's products but luckily there's not much to mess up on a switch. This unit works reliably.

the internet speed of our office PCs was slowing down randomly coming to a halt sometimes and then working ok at other times. At the suggestion of our IT consultant who was out of town that day, I replaced our Ethernet hub and internet was back to normal. I highly recommend this hub.

it is a really good router and works well and send high speed internet through my home....it is very simple to set up and easy to use
