Not much to say about an 8 port unmanaged switch. It either works or it doesn't and this one works. It does exactly what is expected of it. I bought this to use at one of our smaller sites. Passes Gigabit speeds as expected, definitely recommend this switch if you are looking for a basic 8 port switch.

With the trend to offer fewer ports on switches, It is good to have a solid switch this size available.

Not much to talk about here... A simple switch from a manufacturer that makes reliable simple switches.

It switches gigabits fairly quickly, but the white color makes it seem much smaller in real life.

Had to replace a 10 year old Linksys 5 port switch that stopped functioning on 4 of the 5 ports. Decided to go with Netgear this time due to very positive reviews and I needed more ports for all the source components I want wired instead of wireless due to hacking/privacy concerns. Also it has the ports in the back instead of the front so its much more aesthetically looking. It was as simple as just hooking up to my existing router, and voile, it works. Only drawback, if you can call it that, is the port #’s show on the front, not on the back over each connection port like many switches do, including most other Netgear switches. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

Great inexpensive switch that works for simple networking. Paid a little extra for the nice white exterior (not certain that made much sense since it's tucked away in a network closet). Nonetheless, it looks nice and works great!

Not much to say except that is simple to install - just plug it in. Nothing could be easier! It replaced an 15 year old Netgear managed switch and is much easier to use. Easily handles the traffic and switches seamlessly as needed.

Great device to give you more ports than what is on a router

This is one of the best switches I've found for the price. Easy setup and hasn't failed to date.
