this is a great and easy to use item for when you have to expand in an office.

I needed an Ethernet switch to be used with a PTZ camera system and this worked perfectly!

Just bought my third on. Great switch and will buy another if I end up needing another switch!

I looked at so many other models (including some made by Netgear), made several purchases at multiple stores, only to be disappointed with 3-4ft long power adapter cords after opening the box. None of them list the cord length in the specifications online, nor on the outside of the box, and reviews don’t mention this either. Then, I bought this NETGEAR GS608NA gigabit switch and finally found a cord long enough to reach from the outlet to where my previous 10/100 switch was located. Pleasantly delighted by the 10x boost in speed but equally delighted with a well thought out power cord. Why are other models skimping?

Compact and easy to locate. I have always found their routers to be reliable.

The Netgear 8-port Ethernet Switch turned out to be just enough ports for me. I've got 10 potential Ethernet cables but since two weren't activated I only needed eight. The switch fits nicely into my central control box in our laundry room so is tucked away and humming right along!

This switch was easy to install. needed the ports to be on the back. It is working fine.

Replaced old 10/100 switch to improve overall home network performance. Wanted to ensure that newer devices with gigabit connectivity were not bottle-necked by old switch. Build quality is good, installation is an easy swap of RJ45 connectors. Simple install and forget. It just works.

This Switch does all the things that I was looking for a switch to do. For starters, this switch it is a key component of my business network. IT connects multiple POSs, a printer, camera server and other hardware. This switch allows me to send information, such as email, and access shared resources, including the one printer, in a smooth, efficient, and transparent manner.

Basic switch. Plug n play - nothing difficult. On and off button on the side is nice too
