I had been using an old router switch and internet was very slow. Bought this switch and speed doubled.

I have had this switch for several months and so far it is perfect. The on/off switch is a nice feature.

I simply ran out of room on my router and I needed something simple to give me more ports. This got it done with no hassles. It can be laid horizontal or vertical and comes with a stand for vertical use. It does require power, which is fine because there are display lights that let you know it's working.

Simple, it plugged right in, no issues. Noticed a speed increase over my old one. Doesn't take up much room.

I bought this after receiving a linksys switch that was misrepresented on best buys website. So having already owning several netgear products, I knew I could rely on it working well. It came factory sealed and works just fine.

This NETGEAR workd excellent with all equipaments that I have.

Like I said, it does what it is supposed to do and it does it well. It is seriously plug and play and it works without me having to tinker with it. Nothing else to say i wish all products just worked. What could it do better? support link aggregation. But what can you expect at this price point?

Setup was easy. Attached USB drive works but is slow across wireless, wireless drops frequently for Nooks, seems to have to do with IP conflicts. No reserved IP addresses so device should get assigned a different IP if old one is in use but for some reason router does not do this well. previous Netgear router had no IP problems. Other than changing admin password, network id and security everything else is default but wireless connection is touch and go for some devices.

I am driving a decent amount of traffic with this switch and it is doing a great job.

Easy to set up. Great to connect multiple devices to the internet using hard wire and not Wi-Fi.

Needed this to be able to work from home for the quarantine. It fits the need and does what I needed. I highly recommend getting this one with the 8 ports over the 5 port models, because you can never have enough ports!

I used this for a wrestling tournament with Trackwrestling video equipment and it worked great.

have in my living room to feed all devices their. its about half full and seems to be doing well. looks nice although i wouldnt mind a black one so it wasn't so visible with all my other black or darker colored devices

This is a great switch to use for homes and small businesses, as it is fast and simple to use. Even when there are 5-6 people concurrently using it,,,the device performs well...no slowdowns or glitches with data transfers. However, a shareable USB port and at least 2 POE ports would make it a real awesome device (at the same price point) ,,,its 2016,,,and switches are supposed to be a bit more versatile with adapting to emerging technology.

Never knew this would be so wonderful in helping me hard wire some devices while making the wireless availability better. Connects automatically

a great expansion from my four port hub. with the link lights up front and connections all in the back it makes for more organized network cabling. And, it has great speed. I connect all multi-media devices from my tv to my receiver to my xbox with no degredation of speed.

This switch is awesome. Does exactly what it is advertised to do. Plug and play. Use it mobile with my laptop and a hot spot and it works very well.

I am using this as a switch for a small office. It is running as needed. I prefer the front facing metal switches for this application, but i mounted it to the wall with screws and works, even when I can't see the lights very well. I would work much better on a desktop.
