A lightning strike took out my router, modem, access point, alarm gateway and my switch. This switch is a direct replacement for the netgear switch the lightning took out. It is working just fine and is plug and play.

I needed lots of internet connections for my AV unit. This fits perfect!!

Purchased the switch to add to a private hd video camera network and works flawlessly.

It works, and works reliably. Also has an on/off switch for when a rogue device snarls the network (as opposed to my old switch which I'd remove and replace the power line to do the same function.

Recently I purchased a home based video system and it required a hard wired connection and I was out of ports and needed additional ones. This device did the trick and I have leftover ports if I need to add anything else.

Comes in extremely handy behind media cabinets where almost everything from home theater receievers, to video games, and even TVs now need to be connected to the web. I also use these on my workbench to have multiple computers online at the same time.

Best piece of equipment that even a novice could install. Don't be fooled, wireless is good, but hard wired is great :-). I installed this equipment and was up and going in 15 minutes.

Have purchased item in past and works as advertised. Nothing fancy. Provides additional network connectivity in an unmanaged switch.

Great product - does the job. Installation is straight forward and problem free. I use it to distribute ethernet signal from my Xfinity Modem/Router to wired locations throughout the house. Signal strength is not degraded.

This works great and I chose it due to the cheaper sale price. I don't know why you'd spend more than $17 on something else.

BIG IMPROVEMENT OVER MY OLD SWITCH WITH EIGHT PORTS FOR ALL MY NEEDS. IT EVEN HAS A ON OFF SWITCH WHICH I DID NOT EXPECT.

I had been using the 5 port Netgear Switch for several years without incident. I now have multiple gaming consoles, a TV and a Receiver running through this unit. I am a frequent on-line multiplayer gamer and I am never the player with lag.

Low cost solid performer. If you don't need a managed switch, this is a very good choice. Works flawlessly, low power and an inexpensive price.

Bought this switch to extend my network. This is the easiest piece of equipment to install. Just plug it in, attach your network cables, and it works. Nothing too complicated here.

Works like it should simple install plug and play only bought it because recently upgraded my modem and it had a single out and I wanted the best performance from my game systems

It's exactly what I was looking for. Wanted to run gig throughout my home network and only have the bottleneck at the modem. Now my internal network moves data quickly from server to pc with no issues. Bought 3 of these to have in other rooms.
