Good product works with all my devices. This device allows on my computer to access the Internet from anywhere in my house. I'm amazed by the speed of the product and the distance my computers are able to access it

It is unmanaged so you just connect to your router and your devices to it. To make sure you get the best speed from your service, I suggest using CAT8 cabling.

This is my second, replacing an older linksys gig switch. I liked the first one I use at my entertainment center so added this one to my main network. Works great

I intended to buy a Linksys unit but it was out of stock. The Best Buy guy assured me that this was its equal, even though $10 less. And he was right! Works great - no issues.

This NETGEAR - 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch is very easy to install. Just plug it in, add your electronic devices and it's done. The switch does the rest of the job for you. It detects your equipment and sorts out the power needed.

You plug it in and it gives you 8 ports of gigabit goodness. Great for small home networks where you need more ports. No special configuration knowledge is needed.

The switch was very easy to install and required no configuration. Since it's a Gigabit switch, all my devices are running at top network speed!

I purchased this device for use in a media center to connect multiple devices to a network for a customer. The chassis provides ample passive cooling and the price can't be beat.

I bought this switch to extend my home network out to all bedrooms, family room and den to allow various devices the ability to connect to the internet. I have used Netgear products throughout the years, mostly in the work environment and the Pro Safe line of desktop switches. They have always been reliable. My only issue with Netgear products is the pricing. Seems rather inflated.

Netgear makes good switches. Particularly the metal ones. These lower end plastic ones are still good too and do the job well.

Fully meets expectations for number of ports and bandwidth

This switch replaced a 10/100 switch so that I could get gigabit connections. It works flawlessly.
