I bought this because the 8-port Prosafe gig switch was sold out. I am currently using this as a backbone for my network to interconnect 4 24-port gigabit switches and my server, as well as a few other systems. No issues so far.

I am using this 8 port Gigabit Ethernet Switch in my home. I have used Netgear switches over the past 20 years. Never had a failure, but I do upgrade when faster units become available.

I needed to place several network devices upstairs, so I was able to run just one cable from the main router upstairs then branch out for there. There wa no technical set up. Just plug and play.

It's a switch! It works just fine. I have three of these now—no problems with any of them. Going on a couple of years, I believe, for the first one. The clip-on standy-up legs are quite handy for a vertical orientation.

Had too many things hooked up to my Wi-Fi so my firestick kept buffering. So I bought this and plugged in a bunch of my stuff. Now my firestick plays as smooth as my satellite.

I love netgear! Their products just work and work and work! I have had an earlier switch from netgear that is at least 10 years old and still working great.

This is just the thing to speed up small office networks. With most computers now having Gig cards on them, this is the fast cheap way of speeding up the network in your home or office

All Netflix devices are now connected to my network

Used it to hook up a few systems via hard wire and worked perfectly. Nothing complicated to it or long instructions. Is pretty much plug and play.

Easy to use and easy to set up. Instruction manual was easy to follow and now all my devices are connected to my modem. Convenient display let me know when each device is working.

I needed to expand from a 4 port switch to a 8 port. My 4 port was a Netgear and did not hesitate to by the Netgear 8 port. Both are being used today
