We had this switch with no problems until lightning took it out. Since it worked so well the first time, we bought it again. Up and running without a hitch.

Xfinity only has two plugs in the back of there New Xbox so I added this ethernet because I had more than just two plugs. And this Netgear has 8 port Gigabit

Netgear continues to make a solid working product. Although others can and do make these switches, I prefer to stick with Netgears reputation.

I needed to replace a switch because I needed more ports, figured I'd go gigabit while I had the opportunity. Just plug it in and you're good to go assuming your network is set up already.

Only had 1 Ethernet port in the room and needed more for a network printer and PlayStation with the desktop computer. Up and running in 5 min.

Needed to expand how many ethernet connections i had. This product does great at giving you the additional ports. Only reason im not giving 5 stars is i did notice a drop in performance for my netgear ac internet adapter. I have that plugged into my router directly now. Otherwise great product!

I need an ethernet switch and cables in a hurry as I was having a new Internet service installed. Best Buy had this switch and all the cables I needed at a great price.

we had SLOW wifi with our comcast at work. they wanted us to spend way more money. this product was a great value and did the job for 1/4 of the price compared with what they had recommended.

It is reliable, sturdy and does the job for our small office. I was able to hook up extra computers without having to upgrade to a much more expensive main router. by using this switch

I purchased this product for a centralized home media center. Very easy to use. Plug it in, connect your line in/line out Ethernet connections and you're done. Works great - no issues!
