I upgraded as I ran out of ports since I have 2 external network drives and a xbox and blu ray player and a wdlive hub and this allowed me to expand

these work great, have used alot of them, and not had 1 go bad yet. they are in use all day, and havent ever needed to be rebooted.

The Netgear 8 port switch worked out great for me, didn’t have any issues

I've been half-heartedly trying to get the ethernet cables setup in my house to transmit fast internet to a few ports around the house and tried a few different routers and switcher that have not worked. I finally did a bunch of research figure out how to do it and realized that the routers I had previously purchased were not right for what I was trying to do and tis router did the trick. I also found through the process that several of the ports in my house were setup incorrectly. Once I rewired the connectors correctly and ran them through this switch they worked very well. I have only had one interruption in service since I set up this switch and needed to restart everything to get it to recognize the signal. This is why i gave it 4 instead of 5 stars, but I am not entirely sure if it was the switches fault, the modem or the wifi router that I have setup.

Have had this for about a month now and it does the job great. It’s small and doesn’t slow down my internet.

Needed additional Ethernet ports in my grandsons bedroom and this is the simplest solution. Easy to install and plug n play.

Looked on Amazon and shopped them, this one for the money was the best buy and I could get it that day.

As expected, holds up great to multiple systems doing large transfers at the same time. Large indicators make it easy to tell which machine is doing what.

Works great and allows me to add additional high speed ports to our wired home system.

Had to find something to accommodate an office with only a few people, so this was just what I needed to to get the office up & running. Would definitely purchase again for a small office setting; no more than 4-5 users during normal business hours.

I have the unit set up in my basement and the wi-fi reaches to the 3rd floor with no signal loss. Has 8 ports which is handy for most homes. Compace size.

simple product. Doesn't get hot or cause any trouble used for a year so far with no hiccups.

Updated an old splinter. Runs the faster speed of that the internet offers.

Very good ethernet switch. Use it with a home theater system. Wish it came in black.

This is just what you need for a small home office if you have Cat5e or Cat6 cabling in place. Easy to install and setup.

Excellent Gig Switch for the value. Would definitely consider purchasing another one.
