You get what you pay for

It works most of the time but the faster band drops connection to all of my devices a couple of times a day in the same room. The slower band drops less often. I would recommend programming both bands into your device with the option to connect automatically to decrease the drops. I have generally had much better performance from Netgear products in the past so this one is a bit of a disappointment. The setup was a little clunky with having to download an app, though I think it was supposed to make it easier, it didn't.
