    It took a lot longer to set this Router up then expected. I had to call Spectrum and have them reset my Modem 3 times before it connected. But it kept dropping the signal. So I returned it and got another brand. I had an older router of this brand that lasted 4 years that's why I got it but it didn't work with the Spectrum Modem.

    Purchased this router to provide Guest access at my place of work. Range is OK but a mesh router is so much better

    Started off fine, then lag time on WiFi

    First month was perfect. Then it needed a software update & it began lagging. Couldn't watch TV through Roku @ 1080P without the video freezing every 2 - 5 minutes. Just updated software again. Don't know why it needs a new software update every month but it has to be don'e manually through the phone app. Hardwire connections work great.

    Seems flimsy. The instructions weren’t real easy to follow, I figured it out but only after becoming very frustrated.

    Netgear is generally a good brand for networking. However, this device would not connect to Spectrum internet. I recommend Netgear products, but this product for my specific application did not work.

    First one we brought home was defective/did not work. After trying for an hour, called ISP tech support, who offered a few unsuccessful suggestions before saying I should call Geek Squad. Their tech support had me try some of the same solutions (with no success) before telling me their only remaining suggestion was to return it to the store for an exchange, They treated it like it was a non-concerning, everyday experience with these units. I spent additional time and mileage to make the exchange, and, to avoid more frustration, paid the additional fee to have Geek Squad come do the set-up/install. Of course the second unit worked flawlessly when they set it up. Figure I paid twice the original cost by the time all was said and done. Frustrating and disappointing, Second unit is now working fine, but leaves me questioning how to "rate' this product...
