Stable connection. Hardware is capable of 100 mbps theoretically, but in reality it gives much less than that, even on wired devices.

Don't buy. Have had nothing but problems with this router since we bought it in March. Had to reset often.
Now all the LED's show solid green and working but it's not putting out any internet. Performed factory reset and still no go.
Can't login to routerlogin.net because it has no signal. Ethernet going to unit is A-ok.
Tech support doesn't know what's wrong either per the many posts regarding this unit.

Did not work well for me

My main source of music the last couple years is Alexa. I have 3 of them either going thru a stereo system or computer speakers. This unit could just not keep up. I live in a one bedroom apartment so I thought this low cost unit would be enough. It was not. Music would eventually drop out every time. I also had trouble when playing games on my phone. I returned this unit and got the Netgear AC2600 and I'm very happy.

It cuts in and out of internet. I’ve messed with the bandWidth through the IP address to access the router, it starts on by automatically finding the right band but the 5hrz and the 2.4hrz run over each other causing the internet to cut in and out, but still have issues. Not worth the price, your better off buying a $60 router.

The Internet port is limited to 100 mbs. The input port is not Gigabit therefore the max speed form you ISP will be limited to 100 mbs. I didn't see this on the box and I wish I would have dug deeper into the hidden specs to find this out. The device to device speed was great but I need internet speed.

Wireless speeds are advertised as up to 650 mbps. Problem is the WAN connection for the Router is 100Mbps, So you do the math. How will you get an output of up to 650Mbps when your input from your Internet Service Provider is only 100Mbps. DO BUY if you are looking for wireless speeds higher that 65Mbps or Wired connections greater that 85 Mbps.

The activation procedure is a joke, I called Tech Support and they tried to sell me a protection plan that costs twice what I paid for the router. They had me install a program and after a lot of very techy scrolling of computer gibberish said my internet modem was infected.
God save us from Netgear.

Bad product. I was installing this for a neighbor and they had a 400/20mbps service. This router after several troubleshooting attempts had multiple instances of dropped connectivity, short distance coverage, and a speed test of 65/10 at most.
