I could not get this work and called Netgear, on hold forever. tried to do the email and that never worked. Their answers were to do things to my computer that I was not comfortable doing to try to get it to work. All I wanted was a new one!! Never did get it.

Poor reception, a Best Buy technician came and installed it, after trying myself for weeks. Now 2 MONTHS later I am not getting any Netgear connection at all. NETGEAR TECH SUPPORT WANTS ME TO PAY FOR THE SUPPORT OR CHAT. IT'S ALL TOO CONVIENT, FOR THEM.

This thing sucks. At first I thought it was my location but after having moved to another home I get the same exact issues and on several different devices; computers, Roku streaming box, laptop etc.
Doesn't make a difference on the distance I am from it or time of day or if I have fiber or cable internet or latest firmware. Just a cheap crap router.

Purchased this router with a Netgear modem, and unfortunately, they were not able to get me any higher than 70 mbps even within very close range. I am supposed to get 150 with Comcast Xfinity. Very frustrating experience, as it is supposed to be capable of much faster speeds.

Bought this Netgear on the advice of my salesman who said it would be an easy fix for my new 4K TV on one band and my other devices on a second band. Problem was couldn't connect router to Wi-Fi. Talked with techs from Wi-Fi provider and Netgear to no avail. Returned product to store and am now researching a Linskys product.

I was told this would hook up to another router and extende wifi. I live out where there is no service and I can’t get internet. I just wanted an extender to connect to the landlords property so now I have to return this item

Had this in our small apartment for 3 days, and our internet would drop out constantly. Did some trouble shooting, bought a new router and haven’t had any problems at all, full bars on all connections.

I am not impressed. The router worked fine at first, but in the first six months, the wifi port burned out. I thought I bought the protection plan, no! If you buy this, get it protected!! I have to send the product to netgear at my expense for them to look at and tell me IF they will replace it.

This was highly recommended to me by the Best Buy Associate. Brought it home, hooked it up and my WiFi speed was almost non-existent! Went to my Xfinity account and it told me this device was not supported. So, I returned it and bought another brand.
