Netgear AC1000 For The Win!

Super easy set up and worked almost immediately out of the box. I have this as an extension router from one building to another. Solves my problem and I dont need to pay for 2 ISPs. Highly recommend!

Fast & Easy

I bought this after reading the reviews. It was easy to set up - just make sure you go to the Netgear site. It is so much faster than my old router. I have 3 computers, 2 tablets and tv connected all the time since I work from home. I have an 1800 sf house and it works great. I can sit in the backyard and it works there too. Nothing negative to say.

Dependable and strong

Good budget router to get the job done

It uses the Nighthawk app to setup but cannot be controlled further via the app unlike its upgraded models. It handles all her devices and streaming flawlessly for her 2 bedroom apartment. We were finally able to get her a Smart TV for streaming, new laptop and tablet as well. We had 12 devices all running off it at once (tv, laptop, tablet, cell phones and gaming devices) and it did not struggle at all. Great for basic reliable wireless networking in a small to medium home. Pros: Small, reliable, affordable and easy to setup Cons: No Remote Management via Nighthawk app

I bought this Netgear router and my speed literally doubled! My subscribed speed is 100mbps, and this router gets on average 75mbps, when my old router only allowed around 40mbps.

I love this router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my new router and I'll tell you guys why: typical day, I'm on my laptop, my son is on his laptop, we have 2 smart tv's on and streaming, my grandson is on his PS4, my niece is visiting and is on her iPad Pro, we are talking and texting on all 4 of our smartphones and all this is pretty much happening simultaneously and this router is not dropping the beat.
