This is the second wireless router I've ever bought: and both have been by Netgear. My previous router still works (I've used it for 12 years), but wanted to upgrade to a dual broadband model. Its simple to connect and my internet now runs a lot smoother. Only thing that annoys me with recent technology is that things all are required to be setup with apps. Its aggravating to put apps on phones and feel it lacks privacy: plus for the fact its pretty discriminatory to the elderly and those with mental challenges who either do not own smartphones and/or making such products too complicated for people to setup. Manufacturers should offer both manual and app process setup options. Other than that, the router is great, does what I want & was at a great price (costing half of what my first router was). Netgear has been proven to me to be a reliable brand of wireless routers.

This is a really good router for a decent price. Comes with an app that you can run diagnostics on and update. Pretty simple to set up.

Pretty basic router at a decent price, works fine for my elderly mom at her 2 bedroom townhouse.

Seeemed like a good upgrade on past router and good coverage throughout home. Reasonable value.

Nice router. I use this router for connecting all my smart home devices like: doorbells, cameras, alarm, garage door opener, smart locks, switches , etc.. Works very well, easy setup, decent app to control router. I have over 25 devices on this router with no issue. Router has dual bands 2.4 and 5 ghz, which is great because many smart home devices still only support 2.4 ghz.

It works fine for my needs and the space it has to cover. I just needed internet for my laptop, phone, and smart TV's (Roku). A PRO is I could return the modem and cables to my internet provider so I don't have a bunch of cables everywhere. I have a 4 year old laptop that it connected to easily. The CON is it only has limited connection to my 10 year old laptop. I've ordered a new laptop so I'm not too concerned.

Router was a great but. It replaced my Aaris router. AC1000 has great range and very reliable. I was able to get remove my wifi extenders.

Purchase this so I can have internet access over the entire house and I can connect over 10 devices and it still works fast

Replaced an old bell in router with this one. Range is surprisingly less than the old one but speed is great and reliable as it always should be.

This was a cheap buy and has strong signal. It puts out 400 mbps fairly well.

I replaced my very old NETGEAR router with this one. It was easy to install and, so far, seem to be much faster than my old router.

this is a nice small router but the Wi-Fi range is impressive. Its also fairly easy to configure.
