It runs 7 devices in my home (2 Fire Sticks, a Recast box, iPhone, Ooma phone, Fire tablet and, of course, my computer). The phone I had to connect to the router via cable to get it to work properly, although I chalk that up to the lousy WiFi adapter Ooma provides. Everything works fine for the most part and have had few drop outs. Very satisfied with the product.

Not fancy, not mind-blowing -- it just works

It's not great, it's good enough. Netgear has an easy interface, and because I've been using them for years, they are -- to me -- plug and play.

After reading some ideas on how to fix online - went and grabbed this reasonably priced router from Best Buy. I turned off the wifi on the gateway and used this router to provide the wifi to my mom's place. The Google hub connected perfectly. The setup and configuration utility was easy and useful.

Netgear Router

We have had no problems with signal strength anywhere in the home and can even enjoy signal strength on our sitting porch. We would definitely recommend this product for others that may have a smaller home or vacation space where they need signal strength without the cost.
