Netgear products are always so dependable. Setting this up took about 20 minutes, because I read about each feature as I went. It supports 2 different WiFi networks, to support 2 speeds. But, basically, it was easy to set up!

This is a great router for the buck. I live in a 2700 sq foot home, and now am receiving better wifi signal than the previous netgear route this is replacing. Set up was relatively simple. Very pleased with this router so far.

Need a router and the previous, had died out. Able to find it online at our local store, picked it up, installed it and we are back in business!

I was fortunate enough to have purchased this router prior to my internet provider installation appointment for new service. Technician's background and experience allowed him to quickly configure the IT settings to adapt compatibility of this router with the internet service provider which in this case was Spectrum. Set up therefore would not have been easy. Apparently, most internet providers create a layer or steps to encourage and steer customers to purchase or rent the routers from them directly.

Was upgrading from an old linksys router that would randomly cut out at times. For the price, this was a necessary upgrade as my router is across the house and needed the same speeds.

I bought this router because of the cheaper price. It's for my office thats roughly 500 sqft. Setup was easy and the Netgear app is pretty cool so you can control who connects as well as ease of setting up a new login and password. The only issue is it slows down my connection. I'm suppose to get 250 mbps, wifi only give me 85, even hardlined to the router I still get 85. I'm the only one who uses wifi and I needed a router for my Sonos so I'll keep it for now unless I get annoyed by inconsistent speed.

Was very easy to install and register. It solve the problems I had with connecting to the WEB. My complaint is it was not easy to change User name and pass word.

I eventually replaced it with an AC1600 but if you have a small apartment this is perfection. Setup was through a QR code so super simple.

I really don't have a chance to see how it works....if was a gift for my daughter . I'm sure if she was not satisfied I would have certainly heard from her. I already have this make and model at another home and it works fine.

I bought this router because the wireless router that came with our wireless service was intermittently causing problems with my MacBook connecting to the internet. This router solved that problem for a reasonable price

Good budget WIFI router. I get close to 100 GB WIFI speed with 5G and 50 GB WIFI speed with standard 4G. I have gotten up to 135 GB speed with direct connection to cable box. The real world range I get is approximately 1.5 rooms before the signal gets noticeably weaker. You should get a more powerful router for a whole house signal. This is a good budget router but remember your results will vary based upon your internet provider. I believe this router would be perfect for a 1 bedroom apartment.

Once I got it working in my setup, it works well. But you have to hook it up exactly as they recommend and get that working before you can make any changes to the settings. Then you can reconfigure your system to what you need. I could not configure it as a simple access point as they expect you to use it as a WiFi router, which then fights with my home router. I had to download the 140 page manual to figure out how to make it work for me.

I was having IP address conflicts when I was on the road for business. This router was very easy to use and had the problem solved within about 30 minutes of opening the box!

It does what it's supposed to do and is very easy to setup. It also has the mobile app which lets you control the wireless network.

It's hard to find a decent router for this kind of money. I highly recommend this! Nighthawk app is AMAZING and makes using this worth every penny more than the cheapest alternative.

Works well for our 4 level home... no matter if we’re in the basement or attic, as well as our backyard, we get great WiFi connection

We were surprised at how well this router worked considering how many wireless we run in our house. For the price it doesn’t disappoint & Best Buy will price match to boot!

Didn’t receive a router when I ordered internet and this was available the very next day — wish it had a bit more power but it’s good for now
