Old router from local landline phone company could not keep internet phone staying online. Netgear keeps the service without interruption.

I ws not happy with the auto setup and the manual setup was designed for a techie.....not for the regular user. After rebooting it a few weeks ago, I now see "Not Secure--routerlogin.net" and am unable to find out why. The NETGEAR website help area is a total waste!! I am not totally thrilled with this router! I don't recommend this router UNLESS you are a techie who can set it up correctly.

Great router for the price!

Needless to say the Wi-Fi peeters out by the time it gets to her. So by adding the router and plugging in from the wall, she increased her ability to use her phone and tablet while in her bedroom.

Beware NETGEAR will throttle down your speed

They throttle down the speed and want you to pay $100/year to increase your speed. This practice should be illegal. Best Buy should stop selling NETGEAR. I came to visit my daughters in college and wasted my time troubleshooting their throttled down unit. I threw it in the trash and bought a new non-NETGEAR router.

Awesome Router

Would recommend this product to anyone needing WI-FI .
