Bought this to replace a long-in-the-tooth WiFi gateway. It configured simply as expected and delivers a strong WiFi signal through a very complex building. Great value for the money.

It gets the job done, but for anything more than just googling things, this is not the right router. The connection is extremely slow, especially if I am in another room away from it, and with the door close. Even just to play a song on YouTube or a video on Instagram, the connection is really spotty, and the video freezes constantly.

Using these to hookup security cameras. The older routers didn't play well with the newer modems. These had the cameras up and running in no time. UPNP made everything really simple.

Product is okay for a single user close to the router. I have about 10 devices iPhones, iPads, 2 kids that play online, security cameras, Ring and Netflix. I think this product maxed out w the signal from about 100 feet away. I suggest you spend on something more expensive with “mesh” technology otherwise a decent product for a college kid or someone that doesn’t require distant or a lot of end points.
