Installation and setup was a breeze; replacing my old Linksys that even though only 18 months old had become undependable. After two weeks, this unit is still going strong, with wi-fi coverage throughout my 3-story home. Highly recommend!

Bought this router to replace a older netgear router I bought in 2014. I like the dual band feature. The AC capability definitely makes a difference. When I had the wireless N router my PS4 download speed said 3mbs now on the 5ghz it says 30 Mbps.

This was to replace an older Belkin that was fried in a thunderstorm. I'm really happy with the purchase. The setup was very easy and the wireless signal has been exceptionally strong in my 2 story house - from the upper rooms to the outside deck. 5 star.

So far working great. Just have to work on a couple of features of printer that aren't working, but no problem connecting to printer to print. Once that is worked out it will be five stars.

We got this to save on our cable bill . Have our own option for better performance at your choice. This fixed a glitch that our cable company had with there online app . This is dual band ,very simple to set up for anyone to use.

Walked in looking for a wifi router. Asked a BLUE SHIRT. Asked which one would be good.. was told the N series was going out. Pointed to an AC model. Brought it home.. easy install and no problems. Even have the desktop through the wifi router.

I have only had this router a few days. No complaints yet. Did have to call Netgear before I bought this router (I accicently got a cable modem instead of router I needed) to figure out why it wasn't connecting. Very good tech support and follow up.

I don't have any complaints about this router. It does the job. I guess I do have one tiny gripe. It would be nice if the lights were a little brighter so I would know it is on from further away.

Got this to set up separate guest network since Verizon router did not have this option. Has option of creating a invisible network. However, range is no better than the Verizon router, and we had to keep the Wi-Fi extender.

Both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies work with my computer and phone. I have an HP wireless printer also hooked up via WIFI and there's no problem printing from my laptop or phone. Overall great router, serves my needs.

I had bought an N router a couple weeks earlier and it worked perfectly. I bought this AC router on Black Friday because I was told it was better than the N router. I could not get the AC router to work with our internet provider. Continued to use the N router.

Using this in a church with a Verizon mifi hotspot as WAN, only small coverage needed for wireless signal. Range doesn't seem to be very wide, which is fine for our application but may not cover an entire house.

I'm very pleased with Best Buy's Netgear router, which was efficiently installed by a Geek Squad technician. Now my e-mail is working just fine with no frequent interruptions like I experienced previously.

I purchased this to use in my office which is 900 Sq Ft. It works extremely well . I love the ability to monitor my network and remove unauthorized users. This has some really great tools and extras a great value . Easy and quick to set up as well

It's completely worth the price! I had Spectrum's router and it was terrible. This gave me a perfect signal that hits the entire house! If your looking for a good router at a good price, go with Netgear!

This is the next generation Router from the previous WNDR4500 which was king for 5 straight years. This one comes with AC WIFI which works best with new laptops, Tablets and Smartphones. Specially when streaming Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc...

Probably will still need to purchase a VPN service for my streaming. The router itself can only do so much, since IPS will 'throttle' when one doesn't purchase/include THEIR product.

I bought this router and had a difficult time setting it up. Instead of giving an ip address to configure the router, they tell you to download an app for your cell phone and program for your computer.

Basic set of decent features. The router I was replacing didn't allow for network access control. This one does. However, the vpn version does not work with ios/android because of a cert issue.

Lucky for me, the cable repair person was at my home when we realized my (old) Netgear router was shot. While he was here, I was able to run over to Best Buy a few blocks away, and get the new, improved router. So far, so good!
