I had a less expensive router, and after searching a few times online, I had no internet. I would have to walk away and come back several minutes later to continue. The new router works great - no more lost internet.

Needed a router too connect to a communal router in a rental. Perfect product for me with cool extra features to turn off WiFi sucking tech when not it used to increase bandwidth.

Very good router for the money. Nighthawk app makes seeing how it is operating easier. Would have given 5 stars if more powerful wifi signal, especially the 5G band.

It is adequate for my purposes. I was rather aggravated that set-up instructions had to be downloaded via app. I still like to have printed info in my hand for that sort of thing.

Sought a product that would meet the need of two computers, two cell phones and two tablets. Netgear AC1200 works great with no problems. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to cover multiple electronic products.

Good quality. However, it didn’t want to connect to my WIFI. Worked well on Ethernet but defeated the purpose so I returned it. I believe it was a compatibility issue.

After reviewing many routers and based off the recommendation of my phone company, I went with the Netgear router. It was the same router I would have purchased from the phone company, but $100 cheaper.

A friend needed a simple WiFi for his small business. We chose this one and had it set up and running pretty quickly. Still working great.

Bought a modem and this router to replace the one comcast gave me due to poor performance. Now I can get wifi in all of my house and stop paying 10 dollars a month to rent comcasts garbage of a modem/router.

When I went to Best Buy I didn't know exactly what I was talking about. Unfortunately it wasn't what I needed. The return was super easy. And then I got some good advise and walked out the door problem solved.

Bought it on sale for kid in college dorm. Needed something basic that would provide wifi and basic firewall protection. So far no issues.

Hooked up exactly like directions said but had to call customer support because it wouldnt link with my computer. Works perfectly now giving good signal to many units at once(computer, phones, tablets. etc.)

This is a good device. I only used it for a Wireless Access Point since Best Buy does not sell stand alone WAPs anymore. The USB port on the back is only a 2.0 port. Would be better if it was a 3.0 or 3.1 port.

router works well when you have 3 to 4 devices running at one time. If you are using 5 to 6 devices it slows down but I didn't want to spend $200 on a router

set up took a bit longer than anticipated but it works great now. I never recommend electronic equipment to anyone, which is why I marked the "recommend to a friend" box as No. But it works just fine.

I was recommended this by an employee i told him the lack of connection i had 20 ft away with my bedroom door closed. So far it has been great im able to stream, surf,and download with no lag or disconnecting issues

This is a simple straight forward dual band router. The only issue i have with this one is the lack of ddwrt support. This doesnt stop it from being great. But for the price you get what you pay for.

When my old router died on me and had to get a new one I wasn't sure which one to go with, but the Best Buy employee helped me choose one and I haven't had any issues since then. Very easy to set up.

This really help a lot with the connectivity. Our home floor plan is was difficult for regular Router (the ones that Internet providers know providers give you)

This router has boosted my online gaming and streaming. It's let me and the wife not have to the other one to get off the WiFi so she can watch her show or not have my game lag. It was a good deal at time.
