    I purchased the router to replace an older Netgear router. The old router would allow devices in the house to drop over the internet and I was assured the new router would solve the problem because it was more compatible with the newer devices. I still have the same problem and I am wondering if I wasted my money. After one month of service, the problem is only marginally better.

    My old netgear router was getting hot so I asked my computer tech on my job. He recommended netgear 1200. Works wonderful

    This is my second Netgear router. The previous one refused to allow me to access or change the password after I temporarily unplugged it, despite all help available from the internet and the GeekSquad. There is no way to obtain help from Netgear: no email, no phone, no chat. They do get decent reviews so I’m hopeful. My third router, if needed, will not be from Netgear.
