I've had this Netgear wireless router for a year and a half. The throughput is fast. It works with all of my devices, new and old. (Phones, Tivo, tablet, laptop.) It was easy to set up, with clear instructions. Has required no attention since I installed it. It has an interesting extra feature I did not expect: USB backup. I plug a USB thumbdrive into the device. Then set up regular backups of critical files to that drive rather than attach the drive to my laptop.

Was having trouble receiving an adequate signal on the 2nd floor. Originally came in store to get a WIFI extender. After talking to tech I was recommended to get a stronger router. This solved the problem instantly.

My wireless no longer disconnects to my internet service. Easy to install and I do like that people in your neighborhood cannot recognize you on the wireless networks like they have in the past with other routers.

Great Router. Easy Setup. Easy Control. Best option is ready share. Now i am using my external Hard Drive with this router & I sharing all file to my all computer Laptop in my home.

I bought this for my parents apartment. It's a small 2 bedroom and this gives wifi fine throughout. Not sure if this would be good for a multi-level home or office. But it sure works fine for the apartment!

My husband and I previously had our last router (Belkin) for quite some time. Over the last couple of years, the service on the Belkin decreased dramatically, so we decided to get a new one. After reading reviews for this net gear, we decided it was the one. So glad that we picked this one. It works great, no interruptions in Internet, everything runs fast, and it was super easy to set up. We’ve been using it for a couple of weeks so far and no problems yet. Would buy again!

Works well not to expensive and provides my family with good coverage

The router is working not just fine, perfectly. It was friendly to install, has an app in whihc you can personalize the settings of the device, and also can create the 2 widthbands for use, 2ghz and 5ghz.

I purchased this on Black Friday was expecting to get a great deal on a router while in the store when I came across this netgear AC1200 I was shocked to see how cheap this was once I got home I was able to connect it easily to my home network and input the new username and password everything was very easy to set up no hassle no headaches whatsoever would highly recommend this router to anyone that is not text savvy

This a great router. Got this to update my parents WiFi. Setup up super easy and is very fast.

Added this router to cable modem in an older house. We had to add an extender to get a strong enough signal to a PC in a nearby room. Wireless devices were fine. The Genie app was very helpful.

It broadcasts 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz at the same time so it works for all your devices even older ones. 5Ghz speeds are very fast great for gaming and streaming. It was easy to set up right out of the box

Netgear products are pretty easy to use. Setup is relatively painless. Provides acceptable range for the price point.

Needed a wireless router for my drop cam. Set up was simple. Had it set up and working in minutes .NETGEAR makes great products.

Have a smaller home with up to 20-30 devices. Don't notice much latency. 60gbs and occasionally have lag spikes for 1-4 seconds during heavy usage. Potentially service or modem issue though.

I needed a wireless AC router with gigabit ports. This one works, mostly. It has some issues with QoS, where disabling it will bork some programs I use (Discord, PUBG). Enabling QoS slows down my speeds a bit, even with just the one device active. The USB port allows for basic network storage, though it's only a 2.0 port. Slow transfer speeds due to this. Range is fine for a small house or apartment, 5GHz band doesn't reach far enough for a large area. Best thing I can say about this? It's cheaper than most other dual band AC routers.

This is my second unit. Have one in another home. Very easy to set up and also works flawlessly. Can not beat the price.

Good router for the money. It was very easy to install and get up and running. I was able to hook up a spare hard drive to the USB port on the back which works great.

My house is hardwired and I have a router in the family room which is too far away from my daughters room I install this in to her room so she could have Wi-Fi my phone bill dropped immensely
