So easy to install and work great It’s just took me a little time to start getting work

Netgear range extender was easy to install and it works perfectly. 2.4 and 5.0 GHz provides nice flexibility.

It does extend the range of your wi fi . However when it is set up, it’s not secure but if you follow the online website you will have it in a matter of time. I didn’t realize it at first though.

Works great. Dis have to call customer service to help set up. But they were very helpful.

Worked better than I expected. I installed another one at my business to give me internet outside the building.

I bought this because I was having issues with WiFi connectibility upstairs, and a frind suggested I get one of these. It works great upstairs, but his he could pick up wifi clear at the end of the street, and I can still only pick up in my yard. I may have alot of interference in the house.

Bought it 8 months ago, to help extend my router signal to my wireless printer. Installed NightHawk app but still could not get it to set up. Contacted NetGear, who got set up to work after lots of steps. The NG tech offered me a 2-year hw and sw support plan for $39.99, which I took since setup had been so difficult. Two days ago, I changed my Internet Service Provider, so I needed to update the NG extender for new network name and pw. Waited on phone for 20 minutes for a NG tech to come online. Then the process TOOK 3 HOURS, as tech told me what to do repeatedly, but the lights on the Netgear never were indicating that the new setup was working. The tech was getting short-tempered at times. The last step of the 3-hour process was the NG tech asked if I could cable my laptop to our new router. He then, with my OK, remoted into my laptop thru ZoHo. WHAT HE NEVER TOLD ME WAS, BY DOING THIS, HE WAS GOING TO SEE MY NEW NETWORK NAME AND PASSWORD. He even copied my wireless pw to a clipboard to keep reusing it! Any tech support I have ever dealt with in my life has always taken preventative steps to avoid exposure to a user's passwords! After all that, the lights on my NetGear extender were still not working the way he said they should be, and the tech said there must be a malfunction with the lights on my unit. He did not offer to ship me a replacement unit though, even though the lights were “malfunctioning.” After the 3 hours to finally get the malfunctioning NetGear to recognize my new network and pw, I then went thru lots of extra time and steps to change my network name and associated password for my router and all associated devices because this tech had seen my important, private info. This is my 2nd NetGear extender and my 2nd bad experience. No more NetGear products for me ever!

Easy set up and a good range! Easily handles 5 devices!

We only wish we had thought of adding this second extender as our reception in our family room was good to poor for too long. This second extension unit was easy to add and has consistently given us a steady good signal in our family room where we spend much time every day and night.

Installed it in a hall on the opposite side of house from main router, now have a good signal even with doors closed.

I upgraded to this modern booster - easy to use and works perfectly on our Smart ZtV
