AC1200 Extender did not increase speed.

Reset modem and router several times ... with no fix. Returned AC1200 Netgear router to Best Buy. Running all wireless units stairs with no wireless extender.

Yes it works for the most part but sometimes it will drop the signal and quickly gain connectivity. Other then that, works fine and easy to install.

Xfinity tech suggested going to Best Buy and purchasing a 'WiFi Range Extender". Which I did. Seems to work well as per son.

Just what we needed!

Replaced an old one with this, and it works perfectly! Wasn't ready to invest in the Orbi due to the cost, and this is the perfect solution with a much lower price tag. We have a great connection throughout our 2 story house with a basement from one end of the house to the other. Definitely recommend!!
