Netgear extender

Not user-friendly though... I had to played with it for a while to set it up correctly. Other than that, it is great.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Open the box, set two switches, get it on your network, then plug it into a wall outlet about halfway between your modem/router/gateway, and whatever device you want to receive the boosted wi-fi signal, It immediately boosted my signal to all full bars. The only issue I could possibly have with it, is that it occasionally will grab the "old" signal vs. the new one, so I just go to networking and select the boosted signal again. I'm happy.

You can channel the 5g side to the router and 2g side to your devices. You can make it a wired extender to the router with the Ethernet for a true extension. Or plug a real Ethernet device in it. You have to choose between those. It also had arrows which light up red if one side is too far away form the router or the device. I highly recommend it.

Netgear extends internet in 3,000 sq ft home

We were having problems reaching the internet in our basement, but when I added the extender my problems were eliminated. Now I can access the internet with both my TV and computer in the basement.
