Pretty easy to setup and does the job pretty well. Had issues with WiFi range in the far side in the third floor and this fixed the problem. The Embedded Ethernet jack is a pretty neat feature that I used connect my Arlo bridge to better reception to one of the outdoor cameras.

Took hr & half to get it set up/ linked to wifi. Possibly the wifi signal is having issue, fading out every few days. Idk why, but that's why this product was purchased. Thinking the wifi wasn't reaching far enough (weak signal). It has helped, but signal still fades about once a week. Still haven't figured it what's going on with that.

This product works. It hosts what appears as another separate Wi-Fi network. What I mean is if you try to link your device, like a laptop or smart phone, to the Wi-Fi booster you'll find it as a separate Wi-Fi network than the parent Wi-Fi it is boosting. For example, if your network/router is named "NETGEAR01" then the Wi-Fi range extenders Wi-Fi network would be called "NETGEAR01_EXT" and would share the same password (if you have one setup). I didn't find this booster to be ultra powerful or anything; like it didn't boost my Wi-Fi a couple hundred feet or anything. However, I will say this booster does give you that added range you might be looking for in your home to take care of those Wi-Fi dead zones. I've been able to play my Xbox One online, stream HD videos on Netflix and YouTube, etc. No speed or connectivity issues to speak of at this moment. Ultimately I'm satisfied, it works pretty well.

Had an older Netgear that I put in tv room to extend WiFi but it had a weak signal. WiFi would drop on occasion. Just didn’t seem to have the range or strength needed. With the new one however we are enjoying WiFi without any drops. Strength of signal is great. Was easy to set up and join to my iPhone.

Having a Netgear router, this extender was very easy to setup. I was able to extend my WiFi network with the same name and it delivers good speed for an extender

I bought this to extend wifi coverage to the farthest spots from the router. It did help the farthest rooms in which I could not get a signal from the router. It was easy to setup.

This Netgear extender works great. It was just what we needed to get the Wi-Fi into the bedroom area down the hall. Solved our problem! It was extremely easy to set up and we have had great success with it. I would definitely recommend this product!

Purchased for a client who needed extended wifi range. I find netter's extender really easy to set up via WPS. I like how they unobstusively plug into the wall and they function as needed.

Awsome extender my wifi signal was really good but needed just a little more didnt wanna switch to mesh system cause I had just bought my router for gaming and also run a server and it worked as suppose to right out of the box easy set up and the kids have an awsome connection for both ps4 and a desktop computer wired speed for desktop is 380Mbps

Had to set up multiple offices at home during CV19. Student workstation, the Momms remote workstation and mine. I used the dual band extender to setup one station in the dining room which is downstairs and 50 feet from the router. This station now has the strongest signal in the house! Easy to setup and operate.

I needed to increase my wi-fi range for the back yard area. This unit provide over a 100' increase to the rage I have from the base wi-fi unit. Also it provide the high speed option at a reduced distance.

THis Netgear WiFi extender really works fantastically. However, it can't do the impossible, and thats what I was looking for. If you're looking to enhance a weak signal in an area of your home, it'll do exactly that. What it won't do is enhance a sign al so weak that it flips back and forth between 1 bar and none. Not this units fault, but my expectations needed to be adjusted. I would definitely Recommend this WiFi extender to anyone who needs to extend weak signals....just dot expect the impossible. For that you'll need to spend a lot more money...like I ended up doing.

After purchasing another UHD TV to be located in the farthest point away from my modem, I knew I needed a signal boost. After reviewing several alternatives, I determined the NetGear extender would be my best solution for the money. After going through the install process, I have not been disappointed. I have a very good (green) signal and no problem with streaming movies.

We recently bought a 4,800 square foot home and needed an extender for out internet signal. This Wi-Fi range extender was so easy to set up and connect to and get a the signal throughout the entire house. Great purchase.

It detected my network easily and was easy to set up. My devices had no trouble detecting it. The signal is pretty strong but it is a little slower. Pay attention to detecting where your signal drops off and place the extender closer to your router as the directions state. This is important. Otherwise, the extender just tries to extend a poor signal. I like it a lot.

We needed both a wifi range extender and the ability to connect one home theater component to wifi directly. This product fills the bill. It took almost no time to install and set up. The instructions are clear and accurate. It has worked trouble-free for more than a month. It gives us a stronger wifi signal throughout the house plus a reliable connection to make our home theater reach its potential.

I purchased this extender a month ago, after using the Netgear WN3000 (smaller version) for 9 months. I thought i would get a stronger and more consistent signal, which I am. I moved the smaller one to another room for the kids games and use this one in another part of the house. FYI if you ever want to reset it, use a paperclip and hold it in for 60 seconds (had to call customer support to find that part out). Works great!!! Highly recommend !!
