I've now had this unit for several months, and it's performed flawlessly. We needed to add better network capacity to our second story, and this unit did the job very nicely. It's made a huge difference to streaming video on Amazon Prime's Firestick. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs to extend their network beyond the original wifi distance.

Does exactly what it suppose to do and was very easy to install

Even for an amateur this was an easy install, has worked great.

Set up easy. The extended coverage is not as great as they advertise. Difficult to boost signal strength following the manual. Does improve signal to a minimal extent.

This range extender is perfect for what I need. We built a new patio in the back yard and I needed to get my wireless signal out there. This device gave me the extra range that I needed along with all of the reliability that I could ask for. It has been running for at least 2 months now and I have not had to mess with it at all; no resets or signal drops. This device sits half way in between where my router is and where the patio is and it is exactly what I need. The only con is the price. AC technology is still expensive however it is worth the price. I'm happy with my purchase and I definitely would recommend this product.

If you need to provide wireless coverage for your home, then this router is the one for you. This model provides full coverage for our entire house. Its expensive but we never have to worry about signal strength.

Very simple install - works better that FIOS wireless router

I work from home full time and the speed of our Internet wasn't that great. Bought this for 2 reasons: 1) to boost the speed, and 2) to boost the strength to reach further out to the garage. Did both. It was easy to set up. Had it running out of the box in 10 minutes.

Before we added the NETGEAR - AC1200 Dual-Band Wireless-AC Range Extender with 5-Port Ethernet Switch - the signal in our family room was very poor and resulted in very slow streaming of Netflix. After adding this unit to our system the resulting download speed was dramatically increased resulting in a smooth and clear streaming of videos.

I bought this to improve and extend the range of my Netgear Router. There was nothing wrong with the rounter's range except that I needed my internet signal to reach my office which in a building detached from my house and it was just out of range. This range extender did the trick and now I have a strong signal in my house and my office.
