The associate at Best Buy recommended this extender over the smaller versions that just plug into an electrical outlet. This dramatically increased the wifi range. Where I had little or no signal about 100 feet from my original wifi unit, I now have a full signal strength. I recommended this same extender to my neighbor because he had no wifi signal in his detached garage. He now has a full strength signal.

I read great reviews about this extender and gave it a try. All my wifi products are netgear so it should have worked great. Anywhere I put it in my bedroom it had spotty service. It didn't extend anything unfortunately so I returned it for a powerline wifi plug that worked flawlessly. Maybe it was human error on my part but I feel I'm pretty tech savvy and could never get this unit to work as advertised.

Very impressive coverage and I love how it boost not just the wifi signal but also the wifi speed. I have a Netgear wireless router broadcasting in 2.4 so I used one channel of the extender to connect and the other 5ghz channel to broadcast to the rest of my house the router couldn't reach. Very impressive performance - I've never seen wifi speeds this high and didn't think it possible. Highly recommended!

Works great and easy to setup...a bit pricey though

My old router stopped working when I upgraded to Windows 10 from 7. The ATT in home router is quite distant and the signal has to pass some concrete/metal walls to arrive at out computer room. The sales tech suggested I use the router I purchased. Setup was automatic and took about an hour. everything works fine. Signal is strong. The new router is located at the same point as the old router.

Good but not great...was hoping to get the extension of wifi to garage and bonus room...the connection varies from good to ok

I needed to get wi fi to my pole barn/garage and to my Mom's house in our back yard. It does what I needed .. extended my internet about 500 more feet. I put it in a window.

Improvement for a few extra devices but if increasing by more than 3 devices, you may want something with more bandwidth.

I moved into a new home and found there were several "Dead Zones" in the house where my phone / Wi-Fi devices didn't work well. Once I added the range extender it really made a difference. Not only was I able to receive Wi-Fi all through my house. But also into the garage and front and back yard. Easy to install. No problems connecting all my devices. Very good value for my purchase.

The product has good range and is easy to set up. I would recommend this product.

If your router is on a different floor than the extender set up is little more difficult. I started in the same location but then had issues when separated. I am still having interruption in service from time to time but that has not happen since i moved it. However, I don't know how long I can maintain the extender on my kitchen table. When it is working it is much better than my prior extender.

Needed to bring the Wifi range to the back deck. Simple setup and good to go!

On the advice of one of the best buy people that helped me i purchased this unit. I can't say if it worked well or not since i wound up taking it back because i had a hard time picking up the signal from my house to the detached garage this was at (about 40 yards away). I got a new router and that did the trick.

It does works well with your WIFI CONNECTION. Now I can sit in my Lanai and work on my iPad. I had put the Extender in my Bedroom and works great with streaming device.

Works great with me connected directly to it. My office is on the other side of my house from the router. Whoever built the house only installed one port for internet. Rather than install another internet port I opted to try this extender. I'm not getting full speeds but it's 100% better than before.

This range extender has a very nice look and does the job quite welll. I still have problems with connection occasionally.

Easy set up and have not had any issues. Signal has been strong. No drops!

Bought a new house and had horrible WiFi strength until I purchased and installed this extender. Now my WiFi signal is strong all over the house.
