Way better than the older previous model

I have only one complaint, you have to sign up for a netgear account and setup a username and password to complete the setup process. There is no way to set this thing up with signing up for a netgear account. I absolutely DO NOT want to remember yet another password and username, especially when I'm setting up a simple extender. Beside that, this Netgear extender is awesome!

Great extender for large homes, 5,000 sqft

Works for Two Story Home
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to connect 6 devices to the internet where the line connection was in the basement (thick ceiling/floor and cement walls) to the main floor of our home. The ranger extender worked okay, but not great, but it was not the fault of the unit. It was the configuration of our home and the floor/cement construction. I needed to add another range extender on the main floor and everything, including streaming to the tv upstairs works just fine.
